A former creative director for one of Canada’s largest advertising agencies, George Pytlik has worked on numerous brands, including such well-known names as Intrawest, London Drugs, Encorp Pacific, BC Credit Unions and BC Rail.

George has many years experience building brand and communication strategies in a variety of industries. He started his own ad agency at the age of 24, adding to his roster of clients such prestigious companies as BC Central Credit Union, Trinity Western University, several franchise retail companies, investment firms, technology giants and even a national bank.

As vice-president of marketing for Maxwell Energy, George created a vision and strategic plan which catapulted the company’s growth by 1,000 percent in a single year. Always in touch with how people communicate, George took Maxwell into digital marketing even before the first web browser existed. He was featured on BCTV for his innovative digital marketing strategy. By 1993, as the Internet began emerging as a communications tool, George built the online division of the international Christian service organization Campus Crusade for Christ. He also worked as director of marketing for an international restaurant chain.

George now works as an independent designer, consultant and branding expert. His marketing initiatives led to impressive growth for a number of brands, such as 600% sales growth in just nine months for a manufacturer and 300% growth in 18 months for a computer software developer. His web design skills and online marketing efforts helped take The Pocket Testament League to over 200,000 registered members in just five years.
